This Disclaimer governs your use of the ScolioTrack® mobile application (the “App”), the website at scoliotrack.com (the “Site”), and all related content, tools, features, measurements, and materials (together, the “Services”), which are provided by ScolioLife Pte. Ltd. (“ScolioLife”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer in full. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
The Services provide general information for educational, informational, and self-monitoring purposes only. They are not medical, clinical, diagnostic, or treatment advice, and must not be treated or relied upon as such. Nothing contained in or available through the Services is intended to be, or should be used as, a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of your physician, chiropractor, or other qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding scoliosis, a spinal condition, or any other medical condition.
Your use of the Services does not create any doctor–patient, chiropractor–patient, therapist–patient, or other professional–client relationship between you and ScolioLife, Dr. Kevin Lau, or any of our staff, contributors, or affiliates. Communications made through the App, the Site, contact forms, email, or social media are not a consultation and do not establish any such relationship.
ScolioTrack® is a general wellness and self-monitoring tool. It is not a registered, certified, licensed, cleared, or approved medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, screen for, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent scoliosis or any other disease or health condition. It has not been evaluated, registered, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or by any other regulatory authority. Any references to clinical concepts, screening, or monitoring describe the general purpose of the tool and are not claims of medical-device performance.
Measurements produced by the App — including Angle of Trunk Rotation (ATR), posture, height, and other tracked values — are estimates intended for general self-monitoring and trend-tracking only. Their accuracy depends on many factors outside our control, including your device and its sensors, lighting, camera angle, clothing, body positioning, and measurement technique.
App measurements are not equivalent to, and are not a replacement for, a radiographic Cobb angle, a clinical scoliometer examination, diagnostic imaging (such as X-ray, EOS, MRI, or CT), or a physical examination by a qualified professional. Trends shown by the App are indicative only and may not reflect your true clinical status. Do not start, stop, delay, or change any care, bracing, exercise, or treatment based on App measurements alone.
YOU MUST NEVER RELY ON ANY INFORMATION OR MEASUREMENT OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICES FOR ANY DIAGNOSIS, SCREENING DECISION, OR RECOMMENDATION FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT. YOU MUST NEVER USE THE SERVICES AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEDICAL ADVICE FROM YOUR PHYSICIAN OR OTHER QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. NEVER DISREGARD PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, OR DELAY SEEKING IT, BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU HAVE READ, SEEN, OR MEASURED THROUGH THE SERVICES. The Services are not designed for medical emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, or are experiencing severe or rapidly worsening symptoms (such as significant or sudden pain, numbness, weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or difficulty breathing), call your doctor or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on the App in an emergency.
Scoliosis frequently affects children and adolescents. Where the Services are used by or for a minor, they must be used under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian and in conjunction with the care of a qualified healthcare professional. The Services do not replace professional pediatric monitoring, school screening programs, or specialist orthopedic or spinal follow-up. Parents and guardians remain responsible for all decisions regarding a child’s health and care.
Scoliosis and spinal conditions are highly individual. Any outcomes, improvements, or experiences referenced in the Services are not promises, guarantees, or predictions of the results you will achieve. Results vary and depend on many factors, including age, skeletal maturity, curve type and magnitude, compliance, brace wear, exercise adherence, nutrition, and individual biological factors. We do not guarantee any specific result.
Any testimonials, reviews, case descriptions, or user stories presented through the Services reflect the individual experiences of those persons. They are individual results, are not necessarily typical, and should not be understood as a representation or guarantee that you or anyone else will achieve the same or similar results.
The Services may refer or link to scientific studies, research papers, articles, or other third-party materials. These are provided for general information only. They do not constitute medical advice, do not represent an endorsement, and do not prove that any approach is safe or effective for you. Scientific understanding evolves, and any such material may be incomplete, superseded, or inapplicable to your circumstances.

Ltd., Dr. Kevin Lau, or our directors, officers, employees, contributors, partners, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, health outcomes, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by that law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. The Services are operated by ScolioLife Pte. Ltd. from Singapore and are intended for a global audience. The content is general in nature and is not tailored to the laws, regulations, standards of care, or medical practices of any particular country or region. The Services may not be appropriate or available in all locations. If you access the Services from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
